Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2025

This Privacy Policy tells you what information Technical SEO Service (“we,” “our,” “us”) gathers when you visit technicalseoservice.com and the pages linked to it, why we gather it, and what we do with it, including with whom and with what rights you can control it. We work to make this policy easy to read, true, and updated regularly.

Who We Are

Controller: Technical SEO Service

Website: https://technicalseoservice.com

Email (privacy): privacy@technicalseoservice.com

Registered office: 500 Terry François Blvd, SF, CA 94158, USA

What the policy covers: This policy covers the data we handle through the website, contact forms, support chats, and marketing emails. When we provide services only to business clients, we may act as a data processor for specific information under a contract and Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

Definitions

• Personal data: Anything that can tell us who you are or that can be linked to you.

• Processor / Controller: We control data that we gather through our website and marketing. When clients hire us, we may process the data we work with on their instructions.

• Cookies: Tiny files that live on your device to help the website work and to count visits.

What Data We Pick Up

To keep running this site and help you better, we take only what’s strictly necessary.

1) Account and Contact Info

  • You share your name, email, phone, company, position, and any notes you send.
  • We get it when you fill out forms, message us, book a call, or send email.

2) How You Use and What You Use

  • We see what pages you look at, what you click, how long you stay, your IP, your device, your browser, your language, your nearby region, pages you come from, and any errors.
  • Our site captures this automatically using cookies, tiny tracking images, stored server logs, and analysis tools.

3) Payments and Invoices

  • We know what you bought, your invoices, and whether a payment went through (we never keep the full card numbers).
  • This pair comes from our payment processor and our billing system.

4) Marketing Updater

  • We track whether you signed up for the newsletter, how you respond to campaigns, and whether you clicked the ’unsubscribe’ link.
  • You and our email programs supply this.

5) Help and System Data

  • We save your support history, any screenshots you send, and the device setup you share to help us fix issues.
  • You share this through our support channels.

6) Data when We Work with a Business Client

  • We collect things like crawl reports, logfile samples, page templates, sitemaps, schema, performance outcomes, and extras from tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and Semrush.
  • We process it only as your contract says and only to deliver what you requested.

We don’t ask you to share sensitive stuff like health details or political views, so please don’t type it into any open text box.

How Use Your Information

• We run, upgrade, and polish our website and services.

• We figure out what’s wrong, check how quickly things are loading, and keep everything safe.

• We reply to questions, finish projects, and support you.

• We make stuff fit you better and remember what you like.

• We send service notes and messages tied to your requests. We send marketing only if you say it’s okay or if the law allows— and you can stop those messages any time.

• We follow the rules if the law tells us to and if we need to enforce our Terms.

We never let machines automatically make choices that could affect you or your rights strongly.

GDPR/UK GDPR

• Your say-so (e.g., for non-must-have cookies, email marketing).

• An agreement (to give you the services you asked for).

• Legal rules (e.g., taxes, accounts).

• Legitimate needs (e.g., keeping the site safe, improving products, stopping bad stuff)—balanced with your rights.

Cookies, Stats

We use cookies, local storage, and similar stuff to make our site work and to see how you use it.

Types of cookies we might use:

• Must-have: for security, managing your session, and load balancing.

• Stats: to measure traffic and performance (like Google Analytics 4, with your IP anonymized) and to check Search Console coverage insights.

• Functional cookies help us remember things like your language choice and consent to tracking.

• Marketing cookies track how effective our ads are and help us limit how often you see them. We only use these if you give consent.

-To manage cookies, click our Cookie Settings (link to your settings page) or use your browser controls. We also respect Global Privacy Control requests when possible.

When Share Information

We never sell personal info. We only share your data with:

• Companies we trust to help us, like hosting, analytics, payments, email, error tracking, and customer support, all under contract. • Legal and accounting experts who promise to keep your info private. • Government authorities when the law demands or when your rights, safety, or security are at risk. • Business partners in case of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with your data staying protected.

When we handle our clients’ data, we stick to their instructions and our data processing agreement.

Data Retention

We only keep personal data for the time it serves a purpose:

• Records of accounts, billing, and contracts for up to 7 years (to meet legal and accounting rules). • Analytics data and logs for 3 to 24 months, per tool settings, and then either turned into aggregated data or deleted. • Support messages for 24 months, unless we have a good reason to keep them longer.

• Client-site technical data (processor role): as outlined in your contract and Data Processing Agreement.

Security

We apply reasonable steps to protect your data: we use HTTPS/TLS, access controls, and encrypted storage when supported, grant only the least amount of access needed, regularly update systems, and review our vendors. No solution gives a total guarantee; please strengthen your side with unique, strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication whenever possible.

Should we detect a data incident that might endanger your rights, we will inform the impacted users and inform regulators as the law requires.

International Data Transfers

Your data might be processed in countries outside where you are based. For any transfer of personal data beyond that border (including to the United States), we implement proper safeguards, which include Standard Contractual Clauses and, when needed, extra technical controls.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

  • See the personal data we hold about you.
  • Fix or update incorrect information.
  • Have your data deleted, except when the law says we must keep it.
  • Limit or oppose certain uses of your data.
  • Get your data in a commonly used electronic format.
  • Withdraw consent whenever processing is done based on your consent.
  • File a complaint with the supervisory authority in your area.

How to Ask for Info:

Just send an email to privacy@technicalseoservice.com and use “Privacy Request” for the subject. We might check who you are, and we’ll get back to you within the time the law says we must.

California (CCPA/CPRA) Info:

We don’t sell your personal info and don’t set it up for ads that track you across different sites.

If any partner might use it this way, you can opt out at /do-not-sell-or-share (add the page) and through our Cookie Settings.

We work with Global Privacy Control (GPC) when we can.

You can have someone else ask for you, and we’ll check their ID too.

Brazil (LGPD) & Canada (PIPEDA) Info:

We’ll follow the local rules that let you see, fix, delete, take, or say “no” to your data, with the exceptions the law allows.

Control Your Data:

Change cookies through Cookie Settings or your browser.

Leave our email list by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email.

Ask to see, fix, or delete your data by writing to privacy@technicalseoservice.com.

Turn on GPC in your browser to send your opt-out request.

Kids’ Privacy

Our website and its tools are for anyone older than age 13, or older than the age set by law in your country. If a young child fills out a form, we didn’t mean for that to happen. Let us know, and we’ll erase anything we got.

Data Roles

• If it’s our website data or our newsletter, we decide how that data is used.

• When we fix technical parts of your website or help you move it to a new server, we usually act as your helper in the background.

• In those cases, we only follow your rules and the Data Processing Addendum you signed. That agreement spells out how we keep data safe, respect privacy, and transfer data across borders.

• You can see a list of the outside helpers we use to process data. Go to /subprocessors and sign up for email updates when the list changes.

How Your Data Send

  1. Email privacy@technicalseoservice.com with your request.
  2. We check who you are, and if you are a helper for someone else, we check that you can speak for them.
  3. We look through our records and ask outside vendors to look too, if needed.
  4. We reply within the law, telling you what we did or why we can’t help. If we couldn’t help, we’ll point you to where you can ask us to look again or complain.

When our site links to a third-party site or app, we do so for your convenience only. Each of those services has its own privacy rules, so please check those before sharing any information. We do not control what they do.

Once in a while, we may update this policy to keep pace with new technology, services, and laws. We will post the updated version on this same page and mark the “Last updated” field. If a change is significant, we may also send a brief email or a site banner to let you know.
